Due to the increasingly urgent concerns about the environmental and ecological crisis the humanity is facing, 2026 INWES-APNN Conference sets the main theme as “Exploring the Key Roles of Women Engineers and Scientists in Building an I.D.E.A.L. Sustainable Planet for All”. Here, I.D.E. A.L. stands for “Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Appreciation, and Love”- five essential components in addressing the ecological and environmental crisis the entire humanity is currently facing, to establish a more sustainable and ideal planet Earth for all.

The objectives are:
- Addressing and ending gender bias in an era of ecological crisis
- Establishing a model for reaching gender equity
- Empowering women and female leadership development
- Integrating Inner Development Goals (IDGs) with SDGs to boost gender equity and facilitate an IDEAL planet for all
- Establishing equity from within- awakening the balanced feminine and masculine traits within everyone
- Promoting STEAM Transdisciplinary Education
- Exploring how AI may help boost gender equity (not the other way around)
- Advocating “#He For She”
- Bridging women in science and technology among academia, government, industry and other female-oriented organization and community.
